If we can pick a series that only went from the PS1-PS2 then I have to say the mainline Ape Escape series. I loved 2 so much, I couldn't believe that 3 was even better.

I would argue Mario Kart for the most part personally, but that's very subjective.

I remember I played one of them on my cousin's PS1 when I was a kid, I loved it. I should really track down some of the Ape Escape games.

I caught a goldfish and named him Spectre after the villain from the first Ape Escape game.
Not sure if that's relevant but it reminded me of that.

For me would be Elder Scrolls,Fallout,GTA,Mortal Kombat,MGS and Persona i guess

My suggestion: WipEout. As long as we ignore Fusion.
I would add Paper Mario if we're only counting N64 to Gamecube. Anything after that makes me want to cry manly tears.
