Xbox One will win his gen?

No, you are crazy! 138 30.20%

PS4 for the Win! 211 46.17%

Nah it's the Wii U who will win this gen! 41 8.97%

Definitely the Xbox One! 67 14.66%

Total:457

XBOne would need something drastic and unexpected to come along to win. Its price is far too high, and it doesn't have the XB360 advantage of launching early. Objectively one would say Wii U would be the favorite due to the early launch and lowest price, as well as being the follow up to the market leader. But PS4 has the benefit of late-gen PS3 momentum (due to the unprecedented mid-gen switch of gamers from Wii to PS360), very strong third party support and the most power, while being priced well under XBOne. I see gamers flocking either to PS4 or Wii U due to their respective strengths, but XBOne is offering nothing other than existing 360 owners being able to keep their accounts. The One will need a $100 price cut within its first year just to match its main competition and stay relevant in the market. I see MS dramatically losing market share in the US, and not gaining any elsewhere. Most likely a distant 3rd place finish for One without a major shake up.

It's anyones guess at this point, the One could very well be the victor, they have the best conditions strategically if you review the 7th gen.
Sony lost massive amounts of marketshare while MS grew theirs amazingly and Nintendo is off to a horrible start despite winning the 7th gen.

I wouldn't fault anyone for thinking the One can actually pull this off.

I favour PS more but I would like to see Xbox1 to win this gen just to see more angry PS fanboys cry on the net. lol

Please support the cause, go with Xbone only this generation, skip the PS4.

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Greatness Awaits!

crazy talk. last gen MS everything go for it. best situation possible. IT STILL LOSE.
this gen everything ps4 so MS not have chance. sorry.

In what way did it "lose"? The original Xbox didn't have too big of a fanbase, then the Xbox 360 grew the fanbase tenfold. That's an accomplishment in my book

probable but very unlikely

Being a stronger supporter of the XB1 vs the PS4, I would like to see the XB1 dominate. But, the realist in me sees that neither console will dominate.

It is near the end of the end....

And who will dominate? Wii U?

No one, and definitely not the WiiU.

The problem with your question is the word dominate.  To me, to dominate would mean that one console is selling 2 to 1 over another or atleast 60% to 40% of the market.

It seems obvious to me that M$ is surely giving up on smaller/poor countries with the XB1 during it's first 2 years.  THey will not hit a price point that works in those areas for at least that long.

Sony is pricing the PS4 to hit more markets and be successful.

Still, neither company will dominate.

It is near the end of the end....

I hope so!

Your analysis seem to be pretty good but we never know! To be honest I would rather have the Wii U dominating but I think that at this point it's difficult .
