Forums - General Discussion - Veterans Day in the US

I think that if you have a chance today that you should take a minute or two to seek out a friend or neighbor or co worker or teacher or whoever and if they served in the military for your country, thank them.

As a veteran, I know that I personally never look to be thanked, as that is not why I joined.  I do know that when someone does thank me, it gives me great pride and a feeling that my 5 years in the US Marine Coprs was well worth it.  Unless you have served in the military, you just have no idea of the commitment that is involved.

So, please take some time today, if not any other day and thank a veteran!
