Forums - General Discussion - New series from author of Oreimo anime/manga

http://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=687581

"According to the Dengeki Fall Event on October 6, 2013, Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai light novelist Tsukasa Fushimi will be starting a new light novel series called "Ero Manga-sensei: Imouto to Akazu no Ma." It will be released on December 10th. The main characters are a highschool light novelist who writes "Ero Manga-sensei" and his shut-in sister, who turns out to be the one who draws the erotic illustrations for his light novel (Full Synopsis). The art will be done by Hiro Kanzaki, like his previous work."

High art or not, I thought Oreimo was fun and pretty funny.  I will be waiting for this.

Around the Network

Oreimo had some good moments and some interesting characters. Unfortunately, the main male character creeped me out and I wanted the main female character to die a nasty, horrible death. Other than that, though, yeah, it was okay for awhile.

If the new series turns out to be a carbon copy, I'm just going to skip it before I get drawn in and start thinking that maybe, just maybe, the ending will be decent, only to have it turn into another situation where I just want to burn it down with fire.

I dunno, I didn't find it as creepy as some. Apparently I'm one of the weird ones because it didn't traumatize me or anything. It made me wonder if 100 guys had a super hot/cute sister, how many might entertain the idea in their head for even a second, especially when you don't really interact during the formative years when people get it ingrained to not think that way.

I thought it was better than a lot of these fanservicey types of animes, it had some funny jokes and interesting episodes. Can't be watching the renowned shows all the time lol
