Most people here are always talking about the actual King GT5 and the future King GT6 but when the same guys will talk about other news racing simulator franchises they always talk about Project Cars in PC.

I know pCARS looks great but there are another game to be launched in PC that looks on pair o even better.

So now that the game is open for Early Acccess in Steam I will introduce you guys to the world of...

Wait GT5 is still considered King?

Hummm... what other racing simulator crossed the 10 million mark? So yes... and I think no other game will claim the crown as early.

I don't know what to expect from Assetto Corsa... it is a niche game in PC but I'm more interessed into it than pCARS.

Sorry lad but that game is just far from polished in comparison.

As GT5 being Kind. Yes it is. No game has surpassed its sheer content and driving mechanics. No game has surpassed its attention to detail that makes it the best simulator on the market. No game has surpassed the way it represents the tracks (true to real life).

graphics looks like it could at least match pcars

I wont really try to compare it to gt5. I think gt5 is a really great simcade.
And I think ac can become a real great sim compared to games like pcars iracing netkar rf2.

gt5 king on consoles, ac king on pc ?
maybe when the full release is upon us we might decide.

It is a early build yet guys... racing sims in PC have slow development but they did some good work here.

If sales is your measurement, then sure. I was refering to gameplay. If sales is the measurement then Project Cars and Assetto Corsa don't stand a chance.

How can this be a competitor for Gran Turismo if you consider sales to make it King? This game will be lucky to hit a million. And that's being generous.

well since its from the devs who made netkar I think we can say it has the most realistic tyre model and a very realistic driving physic you can get as a consumer for entertaiment (game)

they also really polished the graphics of the game which is a big plus compared to netkar.
Also tracks are laser scanned which should make them (nearly) as accurate as iracing.
but iracing still having the better online play.

I really hope they can deliver and put pressure on iracing.
I'm not extending my iracing subscription for this year and spend the money on ac instead. That shows how good it really is.

edit:

if you compare sales wise then yeah no way it can compete.
if you say realism and graphics then ac already won.
if you ment numbers of cars/tracks then gt won.
if you compare the whole game without sales its hard to say since its not completed.
