I think specs is the last thing we care about... Art Direction is where its at

Pikmin 3 did help (in Japan) , Wii U went from ~7k to 22k in the Pikmin 3 week
And Wind Waker HD made it sell 75k worldwide

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

How are your pics in such a good quality? I tried with some X and WW pics and they looked so bad...

100% agree with OP! Unfortunately there's not really anything we can do to stop people from talking about that junk, so all we can do is ignore it and not feed such threads further while posting in the ones that are about the games.

Well its ment to be more of a joke but true true

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

I'm going to take this oppurtunity to post some of the better looking games on Nintendo consoles of all time.

First, the NES. Let's see what about 5 KB RAM can do...

Not bad for a machine with a fraction of the RAM of a calculator!

Let's see what Nintendo and others could do with a whopping quarter of a MB of RAM.

For comparison's sake, the SNES was about 1% as powerful as the original iPod.

Next up we have the system with only a couple of games a month, but at least half of them were gems! Note that the N64 had 4 MB of RAM, or about 1/2000th of the memory available to the PS4 and XBone.

You know, for a system weaker than the Saturn and PlayStation in some ways, I think N64 titles have held up fairly well.

Love and tolerate.

hence the reason for this thread.  It's my all about games campaign, a place where Nintendo fans can be proud of their Wii U regardless of what people make up and show the systems potential thru games instead of unconfirmed specs!!!

good point and shows that it's about having fun with the games you have on the console!!!

I don't understand arguing over specs. They're meaningless. Even with my gaming PC specs mean nothing. I have no idea how many TFLOPS my video cards are. I just know what setting I can run at which FPS. That's all that matters to me.

But specs are so much fun to argue over! :p

Anyway, screenshots: (Sadly a lot of high rpofile games like Mario Kart and X don't have quality screenshots out yet)

Is that from Super Mario 3D World :O?

Yep, sure is.

I thought the N64 was more powerful than the PSX o.O

From what I can gather, based on often contradictory reports, the N64 had a better CPU (that's where the 64 bits were), but was otherwise fairly similar to the PlayStation, except for the fact that it was harder to program for and how cartridges held so little compared to CD-ROMs. Still, you're right.

That said, the PlayStation and N64 were very close considering how the former was a 1994 piece of hardware and the latter was from 1996. I described this in another thread a while back, but Nintendo consoles are usually only not the weakest of their generation if released later on, like how the SNES was released two years after the Genesis and the GameCube a year after the PS2.
