My friend just linked me to a Youtube Video showing that Activision lied about the minimum requirements for COD:Ghosts on PC. Despite requiring 6GB of RAM, the game actually uses 2GB.

Depends between different systems; and a lot of publishers tend to overstate the required RAM requirement on purpose. Although Ghosts does seem to be a bigger difference from required to actual.

It also has a minimum dx11 video card requirement even though the graphics look like its from 2007...

Seriously though... My 7870 broke the other day so I am using a 9800GTX+ while my RMA comes back and I can't even start cod ghosts without it crashing... I can play it on my laptop with a dual core i5 and 425M but I can't play on my desktop with i7 4770k and 9800GTX+ even though they made a xbox 360 version which runs DX9? Sooo damn stupid

Well that's strange.

The money they make on PC isn't very important compared to what they get from consoles. But they certainly shouldn't be locking players out of a game they purchased.

i'm playing it on my laptop and i gotta say.. it looks really awful, like just really bad at some points. Battlefield 3 looks way better than this.

how does it compare to Black Ops 2? When I tried the black ops 2 free weekend on steam I was actually pretty impressed. The game looked great maxed out at 1080p. Definitely looked better than anything I've played on my consoles. I'm sure it's not as good looking as battlefield 3, but I can count the number of games that look better than battlefield 3 maxed out with one hand.

I was going to take a screen shot and show it to you, but as it stands the game crashes instantly unless i play it in safe settings, which has a res of 480p. From what i played before this kept happening, and the screen shots of black ops 2 i seen, it's somewhat better. Think of Battlefield 3 in med settings with worst textures, that's a good idea on how ghosts looks on pc.
