Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Why Forza Motorsport 5 has fewer cars and tracks than Forza 4

The first WWE game I got for PS2 was a huge setback from the last WWE game I got for PS1.
The first NFL game that came out for Xbox 360 was a huge step back from the last NFL game on Xbox.

That's my story. The end.

Plain and clear that its rushed. Game itself looks gorgeous but its come at a cost.

Can understand it having less cars and tracks but thats quite shocking. No Nurburgring in a racing sim is unreal.

Why don't you compare the LAUNCH game to the first Forza on 360?!?

Forza 2 - 300 cars, 12 tracks
Forza 3 - 500 cars, 24 tracks

Cars from Forza also feature damage and they are customizable, I'm sorry but that's good in my book, no need to downplay for the sake of downplay.

Well a lot a people where bitching about Nurburging not being very acurate in previous Forza games anyway.  It will return once they get it right through laser scanning the track.  Plus it wasn't used a lot in FM4 anyway so its not a huge loss not having Fujimi Kaidio which is a much better fantasy track that doesn't require laser scanning is a much bigger loss.

Turn 10 have a contract with Microsoft to have a Forza game out every two years.

Forza 5 Prologue?

Should have delayed it like Sony did Driveclub, Ryse, Dead Rising and Killer Instinct would shift Xbones.

Its nowhere near as bad that game, it launched in Japan with only 37 cars and six tracks.  Also I'm sure it will have more then enough contented despite the low number of tracks and cars or they wouldn't have attached playing the game for 1000 days on the Forza rewards program.

I have a strong suspission that the next one might not come out until 2016 since one of the rewards attached to it via the Forza rewards program is to play it for 1000 days.

Forza Horizon 2 next year and after that it will be Forza 6.

Doubt it I'm sure it will have more then enough content it will also feature over 400 badges and titles since another reward attached to it is to get 400 of them.

That how it should play out but I will not be suprised if it ends up different.
