With the crazy amount of production value going into this game it could at least cover the broad gamer userbase by being on 3DS, Vita, Console. How hard would that port really be? 

WonderFlick is at least that route.

Just let them hate. They react out of fear. Everyone knows full well that people game on their phones more than anything else.

They should embrace it. JRPG work incredibly well on smartphone, especially turn-based ones.
