Forums - Sales Discussion - Global HW & SW oct 26th up. Batman first week!

For anyone curious about the X360 % raise in the US, it's likely from their annual 50 dollar price cut for the holidays.

Batman selling ok on PS3/360, flops on Wii U..

Really? i think 30k is good considering how low all third party games sellon it

Well shit, VGChartz actually tracked both Batman and LEGO for Vita. I'm impressed. And I don't mean that in a sarcastic way; it's just they've literally ignored the USA sales of multiple titles earlier in the year (Dead or Alive 5+; Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2+; LEGO Legends of Chima) so I kinda wondered if they'd given up altogether outside of the big releases.

Anyway, relatively decent numbers from Batman on both Vita and Wii-U, compared to my expectations for both. I guess we'll have to see what NPD have to say about it, but good for them if true.

Terrible for LEGO on Vita though; and even more terrible for Wii Party U. I wonder what made VGC pitch it so low.

HW wise, nothing special. Vita seems to be up WoW though, which is nice. I guess they finally added some of the extra sales in Europe from the Argos bundle.

3DS doing extremely well.

Wats going on ¿*.*?  lol Either way, pokemon is beasting even if its overtracked in the states, that 2DS might be having a great affect!

Sonic & SEGA All Stars Racing Transformed released for the 3DS in February 2013.  We started tracking sales for the game in November 2012 and it still hasn't been fixed.

When release dates changes, VGChartz is extremely slow on the uptake.

i agree, im not ready to call anything a flop until later. Now if it suddenly drops off the charts then yeah. Im surprised that Vita version sold almost as well considering it got worse reviews. and im assumng everyone is buying Pokemon which is why 3ds owners are ignoring Batman

If the remake of Wind Waker has stabilized Wii U sales to 60k, I just want november 22nd to get fast.

I know it doesn't mean much but that's quite a good attach rate for the wii u US only. The game is out in Europe 8th Nov so I don't expect it to sell anymore than in the US. Considering it is only a port I hope whatever it sells get the developers/publishers their investment back.

The 3ds numbers look really impressive.

Everything creeping upwards as we approach the holidays, except the Wii U that is, it could fall below the Vita again next week, it seems to be moving in the wrong direction for the season with a price cut and everything.

I can't wait for the PS4 and One to release, the start of a new gen is always a thrill for nerds!

3DS in good shape, no surprise there, 360 got a good boost. Beyond: Two Quick Time Events didn't do terribly well last week, it seems.

Hmmm...

Very interesting... I still think Killzone is undertracked but then again I think it did very well digitally contrary to popular belief.
