Go to a friend who has one, or play Mario Kart 7 (on 3DS with a friend who has one. That's how I scratched my (Mario Kart) itch!

Also, nice Bravely Default avatar! (Edea is best girl, though.)

I have MK7,  but even the online component nowadays can't scratch my itch for MK8. Didn't help that I played it a bit on a booth on a GAME store and I loved it >_<.

I started playing Smash Bros. Brawl on Wii U!
I might be crazy, but is it just me or do Wii games on Wii U look much better?
I thought the same about Mario Galaxy 2...
Games seem much sharper and more colorful.

I never really compared playing Wii U games to my Wii. I think they do look slightly better, the HDMI gives it a bit of a cleaner picture I think. They're still blurry though.. makes me wish Nintendo included some kind of smoothing/upscaling feature in the Wii U similar to what the PS3 & Vita do with PS1 games.

You're not the first to notice that.

The common explanation is that unlike the Wii, WiiU connects to the TV via HDMI. And that is important because TVs handle upscaling a lot better via HDMI rather than Components.

Wii via component and Wii U look the same to me.

Some TVs have problems with upscaling component singnals.

I hope you didn't use composite all those years...
