For now there is. They still have to adjust the Wii U down atleast 150,000.

Since they have shipped 6.67 million Wii U's as of June 30th and vgc has them at 6.6 million. Unless Nintendo is now announcing sold through sales at there investor meetings. Then I guess the numbers match perfect, but I doubt they do.

wii u is ordered much by retailers which could mean most of the stock was sold since the demand was increasing significantly

Considering how perfect ioi has it lined up to the shipped total. Maybe Nintendo pulled a quick one on us and is saying the sold through number. But I just don't see them doing that. I don't know the tracking with eu so I can't make a comment on that. I kind of wish ioi was here to give us a comment on this issue.
