Nintendo News: May 11, 2014

Look, another E3 "Leak."
Mario Kart 8 is still doing well on Amazon (#1), as are Mario Golf, Kirby, and Yoshi's New Island (Top 20). Outside the Top 20, we have Tropical Freeze (#31), Disney Magical World (#49), Tomodachi Life (#57), Professor Layton (#83), LEGO The Hobbit (#84), the Yoshi 3DS Bundle (#92), and a LEGO DS game (#99). This is great for the early-to-mid 3DS lineup and MK8, as well as encouraging for Tropical Freeze. However, the lack of hardware being shown is worrying.
Another day, another kickstarter involving the Wii U.
Will this E3 finally bring games only possible with the GamePad?

I read somewhere that Amazon doesn't track Nintendo consoles? I think I did.

Amazon does not at this time offer a Mario Kart 8 bundle for preorder. Therefore, it doesn't show up under hot new releases.

Square Enix Considering Dragon Quest X Release Outside Japan

Square Enix is holding its financial Earning call for the past fiscal year, and Macquarie Securities Senior Research Analyst David Gibson is reporting on Twitter about the most interesting point. If you’ve been following Dragon Quest X and wanted a western version there are potential good news.

Square Enix is considering expansion of Dragon Quest X to overseas market, said its profit guidance range is “reasonable”

We can only hope that by “overseas” they actually mean the west, and not just China, but at the moment all we can do is wait and hope for good news soon.
