Golf Tournaments, eh? That's a pretty neat idea if we could do that, but I'm not sure if the game is popular enough for that.

Most likely, yes. Though I'll ask people when it comes out because pickup rate could be slow (as it was with Pokemon).

Mario tennis 3DS was excellent, so will be Golf. The Rpgs gimmick was cool back then but they replaced it by item shop and minigames on Tennis Open and it worked, minigames were a blast and character customization allowed for really flexible characters stats, it kinda had a Rpg-ish touch on that one...

Its all a matter of opinion. I recently bought Mario Tennis GBC on the eShop because it was imo a better game due to the story mode and RPG elements. I dont find making my character look stupid to have better stats a good thing

bolded is subjective, plus it affects gameplay in a positive way, that by itself outweights the bads it could have

i own and love Mario power Tennis for my dear GBA which is enhanced in every way to the GBC one. i still prefer Tennis Open. it has better tennis gameplay, pretty 3D visuals, customization and online. its a win win

Or you could alternate them. A month has, roughly, 4 weekends. You (we?) could spend 1 playing MK7, another one with Pokemon, the next with MK8 and the last one with something else... or just leave it free.

That way tournaments will have more importance and maybe more people will join.

Very true, hopefully more people will come to the Tourneys anyway!
