Darn, I don't get a monopoly on telling news today! Oh well. Here's one or two items to fill my niche.

Nintendo News: November 9, 2013

• Yet more Mario footage. Multiplayer with the new cherry power-up.
• There's finally a Wii Fit U review. It looks okay.
• A piece on why Nintendo lacks presence in Poland.
• PC Gamer has put out a Top 10 list of 3DS titles. Expect to see the usual suspects for the most part, but there is a surprise or two.
• Nintendo made a profit this past half-year despite low Wii U sales.
• Fan theory: is Link dead in Majora's Mask?

Nice to see some moving images with that Link theory, hadn't seen a video on it yet :) .
Makes it a truely dark game.

This is a good idea, get them to rival the new launches with people in store. A shame we don't get anything like that here in the UK...

I agree, I have the magazine and I read this last week. Very informative issue.

He was supposed to be the editor for the 100th issue, but that never happened for some reason. A shame.

I was thinking about maybe starting a section where someone poses a big question once a week for us all to have a go at answering. If that sounds good, anyway. Should hopefully provide some encouraging discussion and debating, all friendly ofcourse!

So my question is, can the Wii U really be turned around, or is it too far gone now? I'm undecided, really. The Wii U hasn't been handled well so far this year, a sad fact. But I think the next 6 months could be what the system needs. The big issue is whether or not it can withstand the new console launches. IF it can, it should be able to hold its own next year. If it struggles to hold its own...I don't see anything which would make a major difference.
