Nintendo news of 10/03/2015:

  • Global weekly charts, week ending 21st of February: With the 2nd week of the N3DS on the West, the 3DS sold 283k units (a drop of 33%, not a bad drop), and over 725k games were sold (a drop of 56%). Its top selling games were TLoZ: Majora's Mask 3D with 234k units, MH4G with 94k units, Pokemon OR/AS with 56k units, and SSB3DS with 30k units. Lower in the charts are: Yokai Watch 2.5, Tomodachi Life, Pokemon X/Y, Mario Kart 7, NSMB2, and AC: NL. The Wii U sold 51k units (a drop of 7%), and a dissapointing 236k games were sold (a jump of 4%). That tiny increase in percentage was provided by the launch of Kirby and The Rainbow Curse in USA, with FW numbers of 26k units, and sold 34k units WorldWide. Its other top selling games were the usual SSBU with 28k units and Mario Kart 8 with 26k units sold. Lower in the charts are Super Mario 3D World and Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker.
  • New SteamWorld Heist screenshots! Release window is now "2015", but not before fall :(
  • 2 Japanese games were announced for the West today. One was made by Atlus, the other has bewbs.
  • Splatoon's eShop page shows an Amiibo tag... It's inevitable now. I would totally get an Inkling Amiibo.
  • A great new Amiibo commercial!

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

I had to lol at this part of a review for DKC: TF:

"A lot of platformers require players to learn patterns and execute split-second timing, but Tropical Freeze takes it to next level by being almost completely unforgiving. There’s one sequence where DK rides atop a rhino as the ground beneath him collapses that must have taken me 20 tries thanks to the steed’s unpredictable and often uncontrollable gait. I rage-quit once and chucked the gamepad to the ground twice, and that was relatively early in the game. There’s no denying this is a particularly tough platformer."

What an idiot. How this guy can manage to do anything in his life surprises me. Dying twenty times in a level of World 2? Lmao.

Metacritic really needs to have higher standards. And news websites should really stop hiring high school drop outs as writers.

And then there's this part:

" In fact, if the characters and settings were somewhat changed, you could almost mistake this for a typical Mario game."

You deserve a punch in the face for that. Mario games are notoriously easy, so he's contradicting himself.

That senran game seems interesting. I usually play games for the plot.

Just like you read Hustler and Playboy for the articles, right? ;)

That excerpt is nothing short of embarrassing.

Is that really it...? : /

What else do guys need? I thought guys were all about boobs?

It's a fighting game I think if you look past that, but yeah there's definitely one important thing.

Haha, I guess boobs are important to guys... I need more than that though. A game with just that just seems dirty : P How about some character too?

Very lol indeed. A stage that is very difficult like from the old days? Oh no, dear goodness me. Are people these days getting soft? I welcome challenges like these : )

Going beyond the quality of the review, the quality of this piece of professional writing is alarming...

Is somebody getting paid to write this amateur fluff???

Have a nice day...
