December Club Nintedo rewards are really bad tbh. I need to get rid of my coins as soon as possible.

I've seen the bravely default demo up on the e shop, been thinking about downloading it...What are peoples thoughts on the game?

Well everyone who I've heard from has said it's incredibly good, and at the very least it's just a demo. Why not try it? It can be a bit jarring at first I found in the demo but after about 15-0 minutes you can really appreciate it.

Just don't try hard like I did.

Listen to this man, for he is wise. Hard mode will put you off the game if you dislike tough challenges. And the demo's Hard difficulty is nothing compared to the main game Hard's difficulty.

On chapter 3 bosses start having double HP and stats. Some of the battles are insane, even with a strong party

Do they have an expiry date? If they do, is there a way to find out?

It's not really that. My Nintendo Network ID is set in Canada, if Nintendo is kind enough to give me money (like the SMT IV x FE: Awakening deal)  I won't be able to use that money, because my Club Nintendo account is set in the U.S and now I can't change the region. That's why I want to get rid of my current Club Nintendo account and make a new one set in Canada as soon as possible (Still have 445 coins in that account).

As for the expire date, the coins last 2 years. Here's what it says on the Nintendo customer service site:

    4.  When do my Coins expire?

The length of time that Coins are valid is measured in Club Nintendo years. A Club Nintendo year runs from July 1 to June 30. Coins are valid for at least two Club Nintendo years; they expire on the third June 30th after their issuance. For example, if you are issued Coins on February 14, 2009, they will expire on June 30, 2011.

Thanks for the info osed ^^. Very helpful.

Wii U news of 13/12/2013:

  • NPD: dissapointment in Wii U (not like that's new), and a lot of numbers.
  • Here are two articles about the eShop deals/new games for this week/upcoming week. This is one, and this is two. You choose which to go...
  • Namco Bandai opens a teaser site. Unknown if it's Nintendo related, but it was posted on a Nintendo related site. Ok? Ok.
  • So, for those who don't know: there's been a controversy in Youtube about LPing/showing gameplay footage, so a lot of YTers have been getting their videos Content ID'd (I think it means that the owner of the IP gets the ad revenue, and not the content creator/youtuber). Nintendo is one of the companies that has been Content IDing. This is due to Youtube's updates and relationship with Google lately. So everybody is pissed off at Nintendo, Ubisoft, Capcom, and every Company/Developer that has been making the Content ID's. But this is because of Youtube, not this Companies. And now this comes out, which proves that this is Youtubes fault, and not the developers. But this could also be because of the developers because they have their head inside of their asses and think they can do whatever they want with their IPs.

TL;DR Youtube has a problem that could be the Dev's fault (AKA Nintendo), but this dissproves it.

And because I made a really long post, here's some kitties

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

You should ask that to Rol, I think he's already finished/almost finishing the game on Normal. I only know that, for example, the chapter 3 end boss on Normal has about 50000 HP and has about 200 P.Atk. On Hard he has 95000 HP, 380 P.Atk and almost double in every other stat. Even against a level 50 party, most of his attacks are OHKO if your characters aren't defending.

I've currently hit Chapter 4 and there are regular mobs that can wipe out the party before you can act (if they get a pre-emptive strike on you then it's an instant game over 99% of the time).

Pokemon X/Y Patch 1.2 is live now. It fixes a few number of issues, but most importantly it voids the use of Instacheck and Battle Analyzer. Thank the goddess that Game Freks were kick to fix this, potentially devastating to the online community, issue.
