This is painful to watch lol.

Didn't even watch cause I know better.  I've enjoyed Law & Order over the years but I know that whenever they have a political point to make (ESPECIALLY in SVU) they have all the subtly of a bazooka to your groin.  And usually it is insulting ham-fisted and forced with insane bias and zero semblance of realism.  Their ones about gun control and violent television and video games are also all painful experiences.

Nintendo news of 13/02/2015: ToZ: Majora's Mask 3D, Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate and the New 3DS XL all released today!

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

That Splatoon art is sick. This game has such an amazing art style. It totally screams early 00s Jet Set Radio, yet it feels very modern at the same time.

Can't remember, is he glitched in the Wii version of the game? On my last run through of Prime 2 he was the only boss I died on because he literally didn't open his mouth until he was touching me.

Not sure if he's glitched, but it's practically impossible to do damage to him and then dodge his ramming attack afterwards. Just poor boss design, this is by far the worst boss in the Metroid Prime Trilogy.

Anyway beat the game in 12 hours. Didn't use a guide for the final fetch quest, people really exaggerate how difficult that is. I found 4 keys without even looking through the keybearer lore lol. When you come across a room with a dead end and no apparant purpose there's bound to be a secret in it... Anyway you just need to check the keybearer lore and look at the word that is in a different color. Find the corresponding room on the map and then look for its dark world counterpart. That fetch quest can easily be done under less than an hour. I found the fetch quest in Metroid Prime 1 far more boring and cryptic... Not sure why people consider the one from MP2 so much worse. Never died either and I only came close to dieing against the Alpha Blogg. An easy game in my opinion.

I don't use guides period. It's against my policies. That really is overexaggerated, and it really was simple.

On my last run through the game I got 100% items, but 99% scans. I missed the gate you shoot at the very first of the game. And I was upset.

Monster Hunter 4 is mine! :D

Wow though, after playing it for just an hour, my arm aches. I'm really not used to holding the 3DS. It's so small and square.

Yeah it took me some time to get used to as well.  I hadn't played a handheld in ages (well, I had fooled around with my GBA SP but that's about it) and wasn't used to the layout and shape.

What 3DS do you have? The original or the XL? Or even the 2DS...

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

I killed Chykka so fast he never spawned his chyklings haha. :p

Picked up my shiny Majora's Mask LE N3DS today along with a 32GB micro SD card, only to realise that I don't have any device that reads those cards so I can't transfer my old stuff over to the new system. Thought I had an adapter but I remembered wrong; it was for those stupid Sony cards, not micro SD. Really should've checked that sooner. -_-

And to make my day even crappier I just discovered that the store from which I got my N3DS had a whole bunch of those Skull Kid figurines in stock for whatever reason, but they were all exclusive to store-specific bundles including a non-LE N3DS system, MM3D and the figurine. No standalone figurines, not even any figurine + game bundles. C'mon, if you're going to hand out those damn figurines for free (yeah, you're not paying any extra for that figurine) then why the fudge would you not include them with MM systems too!?

Darn it. I knew playing Final Fantasy XIII on Friday 13th was a bad idea.

Edit:

Well apparently it's possible to transfer data wirelessly. "Read before you whine", he mumbled to himself.

Thoughts on this? - http://www.zeldainformer.com/news/aonuma-says-retirement-is-not-too-far-off-considering-successor

As a massive Zelda fan, this saddens me, Aonuma is the only man aside from Miyamoto that I trust with the series.
