Well, that's a pretty convincing win. Glad to see that Zelda came out on top because it's well deserved.

Due to people not enjoying the thread title, I've changed it and updated the poll.

Everyone knows the Wii U is destined to finish in third place this gen. That makes sense. Question is, should Nintendo cut the price to remain halfway competitive or keep the price as is and maximize profit?

It's very clear that the VGA trailer helped Zelda win. If it weren't for that, Mario would have won (as it should ).

New Poll: I honestly think that Nintendo should prioritize profits. It's already too late to lower the prize for Christmas. With that said, a redesigned (and cheaper to produce) WiiU revealed at E3 and launched shortly after with a price of 200 USD/EUR would be a good move.

Nah, it isn't. Metroid is far better to me than Zelda! The problem with Zelda is that some puzzles have been way overused. The dungeons need a total redesign. ALBW was good though, very good. 

Poor Donkey Kong, his platformers are far superior to anything Mario has done yet he gets no recognition.*

*Strictly speaking of 2D platformers here.

Yeah, that's true. That only makes sense, given tbe quality of the trailer though.
