I don't understand you people. That is what kinect is about. Motion and voic controls. It is an alternative control scheme. This game is including both. Why is that a gimmick. Sheeeesh.

Anyway, really?This might be pretty cool or it is just...sad.

I think its cool that Kinect motion AND voice controls are being used in a core game. Everyone thought that would never really happen, so I think it is cool that we are seeing it happen now.

Will it be good? Who knows. we'll have to wait and see.

how is it a gimmick, nobody tried it yet... if anything voice command in FPS is way less gimmicky than playing with a pad.... calling for a medic with your voice is way more logical and less gimmicky than doing it pressing a button no matter how haters try to flip it... they are wrong by essence

Now I am wondering what they thought when in Skyrim I would say, "Fire Breath" and "Strom Call."  And must have thought I was doing vodo when I spoke Dragon. 

Back to topic.  It worked for Skyrim.  Will be curious to see how they add it to BF4. 

That is kinda cool actually, I was planing to buy the PS4, but, since the XBOX ONE costs LESS THAN half the price here in Brazil (don´t ask me why, I don´t know), I think I can have some fun with B4, DR3 and Forza5 and try the goofy voice commands

Yea, I have no idea why the PS4 is not only more, but so much more than an Xbox One.  And very soon, Xbox One will be made in Brazil!

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Kinect could also be a reason for not pushing to 1080p 60fps. Just not enough time to configure everything. Personally I think this is awesome if you can peak around corners.

Sounds like you clearly do not know me, also...my above post.  Missing nothing.  Plus nothing stopping me just asking teammate for ammo etc using mic.  Can lean already anyway without kinect.  It adds no actual new features, just more impractical methods.


So why did you come in here?  To reconfirm that you haven't liked Kinect? Why do you need to post at all,  we see your sig. U clearly where never interested and wouldn't buy even if u did like it because its xbox. So I will go with my original theory. Either ur jealous or u came in to flame/downplay the thread?

Yeah, Sony butchered the Brazilian launch, and Dead Rising 3 is looking like my kind of game... The kinect does not fright me, I always put a piece of tape covering my notebook webcam and will do the same with the kinect
