no i view reporting on forums like being a rat in real life,

                                                                      Play Me

I have never seriously reported anyone. Only a few times to prove a point. I would prefer arguments with the other user until we work it out. Since that is illegal here now, I suggest arguing over PM.

I've maybe done it 2 or 3 times since 2008. I usually just ignore report worthy posts or insult them in a way that isn't obvious enough to get myself banned.

I am the Playstation Avenger.

No, I ain't no pussy. If some one has something that's hit a nerve or I simply disagree with, no matter how that person worded it, rather than take the cowards way and hit the report button, I simply put my rebuttal for all to see, if people don't like it, then tough.

Personally I see to many people banned for stupid reasons like having a difference of opinion. Who would of thought that a discussion actually requires different opinions for it to be a discussion? seriously on certain subjects, say homosexuality, the rule of thumb is to circle jerk, cuz anything other than an echo chamber will send Thors ban hammer flying to pulverize you.

Apparently your allowed to have an opinion on just about anything but when it comes to homosexuality there is only one opinion, if you happen to have any other opinion other than the status quo, that said person will automatically be targeted, labeled, verbally harassed, and eventually banned...funny that, you'd think homosexuals would in general understand how it feels to think different, but hey forums are full of hypocrisy, unfortunately this tends to result in the report button being abused. This isn't the only topic, the same goes with the failure that is modern feminism, world politics (mainly Merica world police), and hell even Video games (calling someone a fanboy gets you banned...kinda trivializes the other topics don't it).

It doesn't matter though, it's apparent that the freedom of speech ends when someones feelings gets hurt, political correctness gone mad stifles discussion, and it's this political correctness that sites like this create their TOS around.

Anyways, that's what I think about the report button and all that surrounds it, take it as you will....but before you report, try reply first. it's your right to make your words seen as it is my right no read them, it's the wonderful choice we all have...just sayin XD.

Never. I learned not to be a stool pigeon no matter how bad the culprit gets. He/She will get their just desserts sooner or later. Plus snitches get stitches.

I'm not sure what the dig at LGBT is in the middle of this? you mean you should be able to talk about being gay or that you should be able to say you dont like people going on about it? I guess when it comes to religon and sexuality a lot of Sites or online games like WoW just plain dissallow any guilds or conversations about the subject, one way or the other, just because someone will always get hurt.

edit - Should point out since when I come back to my house I check on here normally from my vita or 3ds I hate hate hate hate hate.... HATE people who post like 20mb gifs in their signitures. you don't know how badly that affects mobile browsers (the vita will ask you to close other apps until it has the ram free to load it, the 3ds just shits itself and freezes for ages) but yeah I always have a cry about peoples gifs, just because they affect my browsing the site directly. 1.5mb is da rulz!

Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive

I brought it up to illustrate an example of a topic in which this happens.

It's the friggin internet, either swallow a cement pill and harden the fuck up, or simply learn to ignore it. seriously people should not expect every site or establishment to bend to their every feeling, the worlds a harsh bitch, learn to accept it or simply opt out...again the freedom and the power of choice :)

I totally agree, but seriously dude, you browse on the 3DS? I just got one and it sucks, between the extremely low rez screen and limited ram, it's an atrocious device to surf the net, the Vita at least has a much MUCH better screen but again limited by memory. if I'm on the go, it's my Galaxy S3 with the flash plug in, it's not quite PC like, but damn close. Oh yeah, and I dislike these douche bags who think it's 'cool' to have 20mb gif in their sigs...I really love the simple and yet elegant design of neogaf (m.neogaf.com), mobile version is sweet, fast loading text, no sigs, and small DP. Forums as it's meant to be, the only huge gifs and pics are threads for games, but they are labled and such. VG sadly is like bloatware, to much shit that simply isn't necessary, but that's just me.

Anyways, thanks for your reply, much appreciated :)

Loud and proud. Imagine if we didn't? Place would be like N4G.
