I took a little over a year off. When the database broke off, it was too overwhelming and not fun anymore. Life became more important and needed to be dealt with. I didn't log on or go to this site till a few months before E3. My mental state matured to a greater degree and is able to withstand the temptation of getting too caught up into all the flame baiting that's been going on. You grow thicker skin and learn how to fight your battles.

Happy Birthday! Even with a permaban, I am sure I'll be able to see the news every now and then. Even if they IP banned me, with cell phones and so many different access points, it would be almost impossible for me not to see the site still. Having my account permabanned at least helps me to not get too involved and just lurk.
