By launch do you mean from launch day to the end of the year or launch week?

Nope.  Not even by the end of the year will Sony be able to ship nearly that many.

As many as they can ship and I'm not into guessing manufacturing maximums. Highly, highly doubt they get over 2 million.

They said they already had over 1 million in preorders so that's still in the realm of possibility.

Where's the < 1m option? I know everyone's hyped, but no console has ever come close to 1m in FW sales. It's a supply/production issue. Even if they could ship enough units (they can), they won't. It MIGHT break 1mil but I highly doubt it. Realistically, 750k would be huge.

Sony has over 1mil in preorders and have stated they will supply more than that on launch.

If it's FW 1.5 million. 6m are not possible even until January.
