Like you, I don't know one way or the other. Unlike you, I'm not making assumptions without backing. Fact - they didn't go through with it and we never saw any indication that they were going to (regardless of what went on behind the scenes).

I never said you were making assumptions. I was talking about all those others than think it wasen't on Sony's plan. If microsoft would have done it Sony would have too. Look at the features on xbox. Look at what sony is doing. Adding party chat, voice/facial recognition. Features from the xbox that sony is adding at the last minute. Sony would have done DRM also. Plus microsoft would have been making money from DRM and sony loves making money as much as Microsoft does.

The xbox one supports a wireless adapter capable of 2.4 - 5.0ghz.

The ONLY next gen console to do so.

I always lol at most users here who believe sony cares about gamers. Sony and microsoft care about their bank accounts.

I find it even funnier how it goes the other way too, but people keep attacking Sony fans, while not realizing that they're doing the exact same thing. They are also ready to believe any rumour, even when there is no evidence to support it. Sony totes wanted to force DRM; they decided not to because of MS. Source? At least with MS, we know for sure that they tried to do so, but failed as the gaming communtiy rejected it. I prefer to stick to the facts. 

Anyway, again my point is that although it goes both ways, people who cry foul, do the exact same thing that they accuse other people of. Ironic, ain't it?

I'm saying YOU are making wild assumptions. This post only continues it. Sony said from Day 1 that DRM would be up to third party devs. No assumptions there. Just because it was Microsoft's plan doesn't mean it was also theirs. They don't exist in a vacuum.

Sony went on to say more than that. They said used games would play on Ps4 and DRM was up to the publishers like it was for the ps3 (AKA online codes). There were never any leaks like there was for MS with Sony (why not?) and the rumors stemmed from hopeful wishing and just straight up spin that Shu didn't "directly answer a question" when he clearly did
