Analists have been saying that the supplay chain indicates that Microsoft is ahead with production and delivering... hun too bad for CBOAT yelding issues and buggy OS.

Oh great and what does this have to do with the thread? (Completely ignoring that analists have been saying a whole lot of things these pasts months)

OT: If this whole "reviews have to send their reviews to publishers to get approval" bullshit is true, then that is truly disgusting. Until we get some confirmation on this I will take all of this as nothing but twitter drama for the attention though.

Again, it´s just a conjecture. We have seen many Xbox One GUI leaks in the past couple of months. We know that there is many "release candidates" unities with Microsoft employers and other beta tester.

Even the infamous CBOUTs uses it a excuse to talk about yelding problems, crashes and buggy OS.

May be, may be... the system that have been rushed is the PS4 as we don´t have much indication that there is as many test unities out there.

And may be, this might means very little in the overall quality of the final product (on both cases).

That article is nothing but FUD. Yeah something's up, but that's not even close to being it. PS4 launch is not being rushed. Trust me.

Unless you work in a high position inside Sony´s corporate I can´t trust you or anyone if the lauch is being rushed or not.

The good will wave that Sony´s been riding is just a hype train, based most on Microsoft miss manage of the internet gamers ethos.

What got in my nerves is that people "just believe" that everething is perfect with Sony and every single bad news must be "a desperate move from xbox fans". They "just belive" PS4 is so superior even when they haven´t seen any footage from any console (we now have the not so grate IGN feed, for COD).

Sorry, I don´t buy it.

I'm a PS4 dev so yeah, launch isn't being rushed.

But we havent even seen hardly *any* game footage from the XboxOne... so what does that mean! I dont think thats because the console explodes everytime someone puts a disk in it. We can guess that both machines need day 1 updates, why wouldnt they restrict access to them until its ready. Seems sensible... Sony or MS do not want a console that is not working correctly when they get people to review games on it.

This is a non news story at the moment. Just some guy getting into a hissy fit about having to go to a review event.

At the end of the day as far as the consumer is concerned, it doesnt matter what problems or rumours these consoles get before launch, the only thing that matters is when they unbox it. I for one couldnt give a hoot is some reviewers cannot get console access till near release, i really dont care. I mean some of the reviews ive seen recently, some of them need to consider a different industry to work in :) - All i care about is getting the unit, and it works... nothing else matters.

First you say that analysts are suggesting that MS is ahead with production and delivering (I would love a source for that btw), which has absolutely nothing to do with the matter at hand, both consoles have been in production for months and I guarantee you that both companies have hundreds of thousands units already in warehouses waiting to be delivered at their respective releases.

Then you assume that just because there haven't been leaks by stupid kids, that could potentially damage their parents careers, of the PS4 user interface that there are not many test units out there, which in turn means Sony is having troubles with their OS? That is really going on a stretch right there. But just to counter that, we know that the PS4 will have a day one update and Sony told us that it'll be around 300 MB, if they can already tell us that then it seems pretty safe to assume that this update and thus the launch OS is at least very close to done.

The Xbox One has a day one patch too so is that rushed too? MS has embargoes and NDA's on reviews up untill close to their launch aswell. First year of exclusive is until Nov '14 and there's plenty of events until then to anounce more exclusives i.e. VGA's, GDC, E3, Gamescom, TGS etc.

If its related to Media... that can only mean one thing... Sony is gonna do their own version of Nintendo Direct!!!! No more e3 press conferences for both Sony and Nintendo!!!!

Lol so true.

I am still very bitter about Eurogamers 4/10 for Mafia 2.......

Making an indie game : Dead of Day!

There was something similar with the 1998 release of the super hyped US Godzilla film. They wouldn't show it for review until a few days before release. I hope this isn't that all over again.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.
