Forums - Gaming Discussion - Rumor: Microsoft trying to keep publishers hush hush before launch, MULTIPLATFORM GAMES INFERIOR

Xbox One is doomed, dead even before arrival. Xbox One is even worse than Wii U because Mario Kart 8 is 1080P better than Ryse, BF4 and COD:Ghost.

Are you happy, Sony fans?

PS4 has better GPU, CPU, Shaders, and RAM.

There is a reason COD will be 1080p on PS4 and only 720p on Xbox One..... Developers are extremely smart people. If it were easy to make improve COD on X1 they wouldve done it already.

Not if the XDK won't allow it by now.

Isn't it obvious already? Xbox One has set resources aside for snap features and OS (hypervisor ans Kinect). Full power will never be allowed for pure gaming only. PS4 will always have more potential even before those resources were taken away. It all comes down to the user experience. Which one you prefer more. On one side you have a straight up gaming experience. On the other side you have gaming, plus social, , plus TV, plus apps running all together. When you have multi-tasking running on a regular basis, withe the screen shrunk down to accommodate for other apps, your 1080p game will all of a sudden not require all the screen. 1080p becomes less important. Come on people think of how the systems operate and how important resolutions will be to each. PS4 will have a higher standard to accomplish in my opinion, because it has so much more resources. If it can't beat the One in any game, something is wrong.

Does it really matter at this point? At this point mostly everyone's mind is already made up on which system is going to get. This is not going to change someones mind that has a Xbox one preordered or planning to get one soon. I think a year from now the graphics will be much closer, to the point you wont be able to see a difference just like how it was this gen.

People who preorder are a tiny portion of the video games market. I agree it does not matter for those who preorder, or for fanboys, but for that gigantic portion that remains it does matter.

The second half sounds like wishful thinking more than anything.

same CPU bro, sony hasen't confirmed the speed on theirs.

Did you know ps4 only supports a 2.4 wireless signal?

The xbox one supports a wireless adapter capable of 2.4 - 5.0ghz.

The ONLY next gen console to do so.

But the only people that follow news like this are people that have already made up there minds on what they are going to buy and have already preorded. I think very few people's choice of system will be swayed at this point. The large portion of the video game community you refer to aren't even going to hear about things like this, or propaply wont even realize the diffrence.

Well I wouldn't say the only people, but it's definitely more important to the "forum types/hardcore" than the rest.

I don't really want to speculate on what the mainstream gamer hears, but I think it's a bit silly to suggest they are ignorant to the platforms available to them (inclusive of multiplat differences).

I dont think they are ignorant but I dont think news like this will reach most people. Most of the people buying COD wont know anything about the graphical diffrence.
