Shadowfall, next question.

Knowing Activision, Destiny will be marketed to high heavens, and then rammed down our throats every 1-2 years. The MMO aspect of it seems cool though. Unfortunately, the last publisher to try an MMOFPS was Sony, and we all know how that turned out. Destiny won't flop, but it probably won't take COD's place as Activision's flagship franchise. On a side note, in the Bungie-Activision deal, Activision is supposed to publish four Destiny games.

As for Titanfall, EA will inevitably market this as YET ANOTHER attempt to take down Call of Duty. It didn't happen with Bulletstorm, Bad Company 2, or Medal of Honor, so it won't happen here. The lack of a real campaign will hurt the game, and it's not releasing on PlayStation systems.

With that said, Destiny will be bigger. Unless Titanfall is a runaway hit, I see it fading into obscurity in 5 years, after a sequel.

Destiny has a 10 year plan.

Like Halo, it will probably have a lot of merchandising... Toys, Books, comics, etc...

Probably Destiny, if only because it will be multiplatform. That said, Titanfall is likely to be bigger on the One, if only because it will be hyped as an exclusive and tap into the CoD market.

Well, really, they're both multiplatform. Just that Destiny will have PS3/PS4, 360/X1, and PC releases, while TitanFall is, for now, locked to just three devices: 360/X1/PC.

OT: I imagine TitanFall starting off bigger, actually (if not for much of the hype alone), but Destiny will probably take the overall sales lead.

i dont think destiny is coming to pc, not entirely sure though.

it's not, well at least it hasn't been announced. They have said some mixed things about it most recently they have said it's a possibility.

I didn't think Destiny was announced for PC? It be a shame really, as i much prefer to buy it there.

Edit: nvm, someone else mentioned it already

I think both will be huge. I can see Destiny dominating on PS4 and Titanfall dominating on XO, but since at the moment PS4>XO and considering all the XO CoD: Ghosts drama I think the FPS crowd may actually move to PS4 thus giving Destiny the edge.

Sidenote: I take Titanfall on PS4 for granted.

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

Titian Fall. because everyone seen it by now...Right?

Titanfall actually. At first everything was set up for Destiny to become bigger but nobody is talking about Destiny. Almost nobody is impressed by Destiny or truly curious about it.

Meanwhile Titanfall has incredible hype and hands-on previews. Also Titanfall will probably come soon to PS4 so it will have universal appeal.

Sorry for the late reply, but 10 year plan?? Yep that's Activision, banking on the franchise before it even takes off. What if the game is a massive flop?
