Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean. Best RPG of the 6th gen, IMO.

Metroid Prime. One of the best games ever made and quite possibly the greatest technical feat of programming ever for its time/hardware.

What about Prime 2, then? ;)

On a technical level Prime 2 essentially matched, but didn't surpass Prime 1, so the original was a much higher achiever for its time IMO.

From an artistic standpoint I think Prime 1 was better and regarding the games themselves I think it was far, far superior to the sequel.

Prime 2 did have higher polygon counts and better texture resolution than Prime 1, as a result of Retro having more experience with the hardware by the time of 2.

I believe it.  It's just that Prime 1 was so advanced for its time that Prime 2 just couldn't wow me like that all over again.

Ah, I see, fair enough.

Th GCN game that wowed me the most like that was Rogue Squadron 2. Holy cow, seeing that game in 2001 was like watching a playable Hollywood movie, it was so insanely far ahead of any other game at the time. I couldn't believe that tiny little box was generating such mind blowing visuals.

Agreed, Rogue Leader is probably my favorite GC game as well. Pikmin and Wind Waker also rate highly, but Rogue Leader... damn, that game is excellent.

My favourite GCN game in RE4, Rogue Squadron was just the one that wowed me the most graphically. ;)

*shrug* fair enough, can't argue with RE4.

Hope you played the way superior Origins.

I did. While the story was better, gameplay wise it was very simplified when compared to the first one. I found the slow pacing of the first game's battle system to be much more interesting than Origin's, which was much more action oriented. Both are awesome games though, a new Baten Kaitos for Wii U or 3DS would be incredible.

Resident Evil 4 was flawless. The game still looks and plays great today too.
The game I sunk the most time into was definitely Melee.

Wind Waker, Resident Evil 4, Eternal Darkness, were all great but my pick is.......
PHANTASY STAR ONLINE!!!!!!! 300 hours into it :)
