OK. So what do we know?

*Wii Party sold 238 000 first week in Japan
*It went on to have super legs there, and ended up selling 2,47 mill.
*Nintendo is advertising Wii Party U HEAVILY in Japan, alongside the upcoming bundles.

So what does it mean? Basically everyone whom had interest in the original Wii Party will know of this release. It tells us that, if it fails, then the Wii series can be considered dead in Japan. However, i'd like to think that it will resonate and do very well. There is a lot of value in that bundle (It's 30k yen (about $300)) and also include NSMBU).

I'm gonna go all out and say it'll be a smashing success that will WTF surprise a lot of vgcharters and should shut the naysayers up pretty good.

Home consoles don't sell well in Japan anymore. It's primarily handheld territory, as we've seen with 3DS. PS3 is the most popular home console, and it's got a pretty low install base after almost seven years on the market.  Even the Wii only topped out over there at 12 million.

Wii U will get a decent boost out of those bundles, of course the primary sales drivers will be 3D World and Taiko. I'll say 22k for bundle launch week, and decent strength throughout holiday season. Decent by Japan standards.

I'm hoping for the Nintendo's sake 20k+. Soooo 23k for me
