Those are the ones. So how long do you think it'll take for them to surpass B/W from aligned launch? Because X/Y have already surpassed every other generation of Pokemon.

Yes but Wii Party isnt a game that has big first week sales. In NA it sold 38k FW and 29k in Europe, yet it was able to sell 5m in those territories combined. Japan was the only place that it had a strong debut.

Duh what other numbers are there! And of course it wasn't gonna open as strongly as B/W. Have you still not looked at the install base differences between DS and 3DS? Regardless our bet isn't lookin too good for you right now. X/Y will already be past the halfway mark before this year even ends!

Why not? The big exclusive games are coming, the price is lower than the competition, and it has a better established existing library. I doubt it will crush the competition, but why won't it at least do decently?


Because the days of the casuals are over.

(A) No they are not. There always have been and always will be casual gamers.

(B) Wii U does not need to rely on casuals to sell.

It'll never surpass B/W. As for every other generation of Pokemon, do you really think it'll get to 30M?

No gamepad-less bundle (I want a pro controller only FFS I'm a pro, not a casual and I don't want that toy looking tablet).

So it's not stealing my xmas yet. Fix that shit up Nintendo, last home console of yours I owned was the Super NES.
