Depends on how COD will like on xbox1. It's confirmed that COD is native 1080p on PS4. Although most casual gamers may not know or see the difference if it's not 1080p and although short-term opening sale won't be affected, if xbox1 COD isn't 1080p then it may hurt sales in the long run.

This is not necessarily true. While the potential to sell more COD is there, if the attachment ratio is in the favor the of Xbox One platform then there can exist an option to be the console of choice for COD despite selling less units.

Ps. I doub't that res issue turns the fated outcome much. it's just pointlss nerd talk. Most people talking about it already have made up there minds to get ps4's before the rumors came up and a chunk of those guys aren't even interested in call of duty to begin with.

Nah, honestly higher COD sales on PS4 than on the One at launch seems like a pretty safe bet. We have to factor in, in how many more countries the PS4 actually releases and also how it is probably in way higher demand than the One in european countries where they both release. So I'd be really surpised if the outcome's any different.
