This article... well... how I can say? It is better not to say.

1. The guy used a Eurogamer article from June to confirm the resolution... that was before all the downgrades.
2. After that it uses a August interview that says that Xbone CoD have "fantastic graphics" compared with...
3. ... 360 (that at first he forgot to write but pointed the edit in comments)

Give me new gameplay ideas. Puzzles. Missions. Branching paths. CoD formula is so recycled that I have just one right now in my collection (BO II) and I´m not looking foward to another mindless shooter

GAF is actually pretty good at this point. Try reading it with an open mind ;)

The only thing i get from this is:

1. They were targeting 1080/60
2. Next article they are not specifically stating resolution.. just that it looks great.

To me it sounds like they were originally trying to do it at that level and they haven't, as why wouldn't you say, its running/looking great. It's an easy win imho.. if you have a benefit you shout it from the roof tops. If someone questions your game, you can easily put that negativity down. "What are you on about our game is running at 1080p and it looks glorious"… gamers are so critical these days, putting down the negativity is easy if it's true… no one keeps quiet about positives.

Now in terms of Neogaf… some stuff they post is pretty spot on… the only one i would say is risky (in terms of what they are suggesting) would be Titanfall because its not out till next year, so they have time to improve it… but do i think that COD is not running at 1080p… yes, I believe that.
