Always blows my mind but Nintendo seems to be pushing digital download in a big way. Even their 3DS games are super tiny to download and still pack so much content.

imagine how much more they could have done visually if they didn't care much about the size of the game. what I think should have been done is fur grass like they did in Galaxy which would have been nice

Some games are ridiculously big for no apparent reason.

Skyrim on my PC is at like 11.8 gigs

I doubt I have 8 gigs worth of mods installed.  You sure its only 3.8?

Fire emblem awakening was little over 1 GB maybe 1.1-1.2 max right? This is impressive since they have already confirmed we're getting Galaxy 2 number of worlds.

I know, but just because there is the option doesn't mean you have to use it all.  

Just pointing out how so many gamers say that blu ray size is NEEDED.  And how some games could not be done without that size.

Just look at the best looking PC games out htere.  They can all fit on DVD's still.  And those games look better than any console game.
