For a series as unique and refreshing as this, more of the same is adequate.

Said it the minute, when they announced it is a prequel for PS3/360/WiiU, a not developed by Rocksteady.
Can't blame them though, Batman Akrham got very popular, they wanted to go with the punch and get more profit. It most probably won't be a bad game, just not the levels of Rocksteady's games.

But worry not, I'm sure Rocksteady is already well into development of another game, hopefully in Batman universe for PS4/X1 and it will blow our minds!

well to be fair I have little reason to believe this game should ever be as good as asylum or city given it's made by a completely different studio and reeks of quick-cashin-itus (and this is coming from somebody who would rate asylum and city as 2 of their favourite games of the last gen!)...I assume/hope/pray this game is merely filling the void while waiting for the next 'proper' batman game from rocksteady on the next gen consoles.
Still, having said that, a 7 from a site I know nothing about is hardly something to jump off a bridge over and I'll reserve judgement for the time being. If it gets around an 8 or higher I'll be happy (for the time being).
I'm kinda curious about the 3ds game though and kinda hope that doesn't suck but it probably will.

meh, with the last 2 so good, from what I have seen and read Im not slightest bit interested in origins plus it is current gen, and the vita version looks like complete junk.

At best this is a $10 steam sale pickup for me.

More of the same? Thank god. I want the franchise to evolve, But I rather have Rocksteady do it and in the meantime I will be very happy with a game that is just "more of the same" of what Rocksteady did as a hold over.

My two most anticipated games of the year were Tomb Raider and this game. Hope it lives up to expectations like TR did. Also, in the review, they said "It doesn't take place in Arkham and it doesn't show Batman's Origin". Maybe it shows ARKHAM'S ORIGIN? I don't know. Haven't played it yet. That statement just stood out in my head.

I pre-ordered the Wii U version and I still can't wait to play it. I'm happy with just more Batman. Maybe I should want more but I don't.

they're also particularly a crapshoot when it comes to sequels.  Ratchet gets docked for having upgrading weapons again but COD doesn't get docked for having perks?  The games they want to score higher or that the reviewer is a fan of he'll say "it's more of the same...but isn't that what we all wanted!?  9/10!" and if he's not as big a fan he'll say something like "too much of the same it feels stagnant.  7/10"

I can't belive a 7 is a a bad score for a videogame... Back in school a 7 on an exam was harcore stuff. I think we are taking scores a bit too serious.

If the game is as good as the rest I will probably pick it up for the Wii U!
