ouch if true then what would even be the difference between this and current gen version of ghosts?

I'm gonna call bullshit on this one. COD is not a graphically intense game and xbox is the preferred system for the series. I'm not even going to entertain the idea that this could be true.

I doubt you will notice a big difference regardless of which version do you buy. This numbers are cute for forum wars but basically useless in terms of enhanced gameplay.

Look at the recommended specs for the PC version. It's going to be a reasonably demanding game so not surprised if Xbone version running @ 720p.

from the footage i have seen from this game it looks on par with modern warfare 2 so yeah ghosts will probably the most lazyest PS4 and xbone game

Again, my friend. The real power difference is in the GPU only, periode. The rest is almost the same, or even more advanced in the X1.

That is nothing wrong with the MS decision of APU archture. It´s nothing like the CELL, which itself was not a bad CPU, but completely alien to developer. ESRAM and EDRAM have been in use for years in a variety of general public devices. Besides, most of the complexity is hidden by drives and APIs. 

The only explanation if that turns out to be true (1080 to 720 is montrous) is that the PS4 devkits were delivered several months before the final XOne kits.

So Xbox One is just a slightly better current gen console? Seriously, hardware difference between XOne and PS4 is minimal, if it runs at 720p on one console, it simply won't run at 1080p on another.
