Super Mario 3D World is going to be a system seller no matter if it appears in this list or not.

That is strange, I thought it would do great. This game looks 10x better every time they show it.

Define great?  I have no doubt it will sell 3 million and could go as high as 8 million with Mario long legs over next few years.

Considering sonic preorders only started october 1st, I won't be surprised if 3d world's preorders only start a month before release. the same for other nintendo published games.

Mario Game sell constantly...they don't have big launch days, but they still sell a nice chunk every week. In the end, it's a success.

What's funny is that with the release of every Mario game, somebody creates a topic about how poorly the game did after one week and how people don't want Mario games anymore...

I was thinking a minimum of 4 million, 6+ being very likely. It just seems weird it isn't charting.

It'll sell, but not nearly the amount that previous Mario games have. I would not be surprised if it does not hit 5 million LT.

The reason Mario games have had legs for 3DS, Wii and DS is because the sales of the console naturally were high and the install base were very high. With Wii U's install base not even at 4 million, legs will not be the same level as they were for the previous consoles.

Which brings me to the point, this holiday was supposed to be Nintendo's chance to show that it has quality games available for Wii U. Apart for SM3DW, what other AAA games does Nintendo have exclusive to Wii U? Sonic didn't do that great with the critics (though Im excited for it) and we have a port of a 10 year old Zelda. But nothing that makes you move consoles. After Donkey Kong getting pushed to next year, all we have is a bunch of mini game collection games such as Wii Fit U, Wii Sports U, Wii Party U and Mario and Sonic.

I was utterly disappointed at this holiday's lineup for Wii U exclusives as it was Nintendo's one chance to shine before the next-gen consoles arrive.
