man much better than i was getting when i was in pensacola.

~2.8 mb/s down, ~1.4 mb/s up, and ~100ms ping

I live near there.  What service provider were you with?  Mediacom or Cox?  I think Mediacom sucks.  Always once a week there's 30 minutes to an hour where I have 1mb/s download speed.  Around 11:30pm-12:00am every night it also goes down to low levels.

My speeds look good here, but I pay a lot for what I get.  I have to since they added a 250GB limit and a $10 fee for each 50GB you go over for what I was on.

See what I mean though.  At certain times my speed will be bouncing all over the place.  Did this speed test right after the other.

Its more then 10 times faster then what I used to have with DSL.

Well, not to make DSL sound better than it is, but you apparently didn't have the greatest DSL in the world. My parents have DSL still (It actually just finally arrived where they lived about a year ago), and it runs about 6Mb download.

Well I 6Mb DSL for a while but most of the time I had 1.5 or 3Mb.

Shame were can I find speeds at 100 Mbps?

I think that Google Fiber and Verzion Fios are the only two companies that provide that kind of speed in the US and they are only available in limited areas.  That kind of speed closest to where I live will be available in Austin, Texas next year when they get Google Fiber.

Ping - 7ms
Down - 18.76
Up - 4.97

Well neither ones are available in my area either (east Fort Worth) I got the second fasted provider that is available in my area the only one that is slightly faster is Time Warner Cable but I'm happy with Charter its way better then the ATT DSL I used to have.

I pay around 38$ a month for it (Sweden)

Think I'll need to uppgrade it again soon

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)
