Forums - Gaming Discussion - This trailer right here expresses exactly why the jump from current gen to next gen is large enough

I been playing on my PC this game 2k14 all on Max settings 1920x1200, and is no were near this!, that was truly stunning O_O. This is next gen no doubt about it.

Exactly. There is a noticable difference in animation and character models in graphics. There are also expressions and more that just makes the current gen version pale in comparison. David Cage also explained the next gen leap in character design and emotion from the current gen to next gen using each game and then showed the picture of the old man. It was crazy.

Meh. Looks alot better than previous titles. But after watching this, its hard to be excited by NBA 2K14 visuals.

Thats not my point. On both consoles the exclusives mostly look better.

Looks noticeably better than the current gen trailer.

Now for some conspiracy time, notice how at the end of the trailer only the PS4 logo is shown and that there is also a specific trailer for the current gen and (for some reason it's packed in there as well) PC version? The Xbox 1 is nowhere to be seen, could that mean that that version is not quite on par with the PS4 version? :D

Well, GTA V never showed xbox footage till luanch and there wasnt even the mention of xbox 360 in Advertisements the did. But in the end both are almost identicle. i doubt it will be tht better, multiplats wont save much difference in term of graphics.

Yeah but like I said the current gen trailer mentions both the Xbox and the PS3, so doesn't it seem kinda weird that the next gen trailer specifically only mentions the PS4 version? :D

His reasons could be different than yours.

Looks better, but doesn't look like 2K is pushing the consoles as much as some of the devs are.

I don't think eyes have reasons.

He said it still looks like shit to him, that can mean many things either going from what he percieves to be a massive leap or from a PC gamer perspective where they are used to max settings on most games.

There is no question there is a leap in graphics. The question is does it warrant a purchase for the current offerings? For some - yes for others - no. I personally fall into the latter since I'm not singularly impressed by visuals enough to purchase a system for a game. I also have a PS3 so I can play all the games I want for the next couple of years. It remains to be seen which boat the mainstream audience will fall into though.

Great trailer though.
