Really guys, even if by specs underpowered... man, does this look good! To me it's a perfect launch game. It truly shows the potential of Xbone, no matter the scores it will get. It will impress many many people.

That first trailer really reminded me of Gof of War. The only thing missing was that woman voice lol.

For sure, I'm generally more impressed by their engines than their games.

Not really all that useful.  Being a 3rd person game, Ryse uses a different amount of resources for what it presents than a FPS, as there is a full polygonal character that is controlled in front of you instead of just a gun.  A comparison with another TPS, such as Infamous, would be better served (though that presents its own problems as well).

OT:  Anyone that bemoans the graphics in this game are showing their true colors.  They look amazing and a clear jump over the current consoles.  

We keep seeing a lot of similar stuff in all of the footage for this game.  I'm starting to get the feeling that there is a lot they're keeping quiet for now.  Really curious to see how the reviews turn out.

I don't understand all the hate behind that game... this looks gorgeous, there's a story, the voice acting seeme to be well done, the combat (not everyone's cup) looks tight, there's a multiplayer... no, we have a winner.

Oh, I so hope the gameplay and story hold because this is the most beautiful game I have ever seen! The newer style also has a lot more atmosphere, and that can never be a bad thing :).

I'm suddenly more interested because apparently this game has story. Although rather cliché (the seek for vengeance and all that), I like that Crytek is aiming for something more ambitious. I'll keep an eye on this one.

WOW! Absolutely stunning visuals. I cannot wait to see what Crytek has in store for this gen when they actually build a game from the ground up intended for X1. This game was originally designed as a 360 game.

If the gameplay ends up being even half as impressive as the visuals Ryse is going to be really enjoyable to play.
