Ok, sorry it's just that I read the NeoGAF discussion and several people have said it's all cause of Sonys greed...

I honestly don't know what all the reasons are, but I highly doubt Sony would willingly release a console at almost twice the price of the competition, if they could help it. That doesn't seem inline with their message up to this point. So maybe it is taxes I don't know... maybe MS can offer their console cheaper cause they produce it in Brazil or maybe they are willingly taking the losses, which is something Sony can't really afford to do.

And that is why, in the summer, we see in Portuguese shopping centres all the Brazilian tourists with bags of Laptops, 2 or more consoles (I once saw 3 PS3s). Pricings in Brazil are ludicrous. Shopping in Europe for the summer alone is worth the trip.
It's insane.
