Wow! Microsoft finally released an android app this month. It only took them a few months too long. I dropped my 3 year subscription to it because it lacked this and switched to Google Music.

How are you liking Google Music.  Which did you prefer MS service or Googles?

Well, relative to the music, it is awesome. Good sound quality and selection. The ui could definitely use work (on both the browser and phone), but I am confident this will get fixed (simple things like back buttons and a little less clunky). I love that on my phone I can download music to listen offline. That alone is the reason I sold my zune hd and cancelled zune pass (xbox music pass). I also wish google music had more than a 1 month subscription. I was a user of the 1 year subscription from microsoft that saved me 2 months off the price.

So there isn't offline listening on xbox music pass?  That's a big feature it's missing out on.

Used to have Spotify Premium but switched to Google Music All Access as an early adopter and got locked in for $8 a month. Haven't looked back once, absolutely superb.

Well, it is sort of back and forth.

For Xbox Music, you can currently only listen offline on Microsoft devices (PC, Zune, Xbox). They did, however, finally release an app to at least listen to music on Android and Apple devices (but the offline mode is an upcoming feature).

For Google Music, you can currently only listen offline on Android devices (Phones, Tablets). So there is no offline listening available on a PC.

Money can't buy happiness. Just video games, which make me happy.

But to the best of my knowledge, Google Music isn't available at all (excluding third party apps) on Windows and Apple devices, assuming you can't get it to work on the browser.

Gotcha.  It's seems like to me that All Access will be the go to music service once they get it on all the devices.  I'm not sure why Apple didn't bring out a service similiar to All Access and Spotify.

I'm currently using Music Unlimited because Sony had a PS+ discount to 12€ for a year. Definitely a good service, but it's missing lots of japanese music I like to listen to and there are some notable gaps in the Metal section aswell. If the following years cost more than 20€ I'm probably going to stop my subscription.

Wish I would have got in on that deal.  Also wish I could have at least gotten in to the PS+ discount they had going this summer I think it was $41.99 for a year subscription.

I also missed out on the All Access discount for all the early adopters it was like $8 a month.

Bummer.

I had Music Unlimited from Sony for a long time and that was great, and cheap if you have PS+.

I'm using Spotify premium lately, have it for free from my ISP. I love Spotify as well. So my advise would be one of those two!

Why has no one mentioned Grooveshark? It's free and there's no ads, and so far I've been able to find every song or album I've searched

I don't think that Music Unlimited is discounted with ps+ anymore.  I can't seem to find any discount for it anymore and I have ps+.

Which do you prefer Music Unlimited or Spotify?

I don't know much about Grooveshark, is it a music on demand service?  Does it have radio features?
