Stop being silly. Sonic is still a much bigger deal despite many disappointing games over the last two decades. The sales show it, the message boards don't. People just love to beat down Sonic and praise Rayman. If you ever read someone saying that they would buy a Wii U for Rayman Legends, they were lying.

I dont think Sonic is as big a deal as you make out however. Cant remember the last time a Sonic game moved any consoles.

No specific game. Always get the latest Nintendo console right on launch, even if they have mildly disappointing launch lineups (aka the Wii U and 3DS).

idk, I dont think Rayman Legends sold so much on WiiU did it?

It hasn't sold well on anything. It's sold more on Wii U than anything else. Ubisoft were morons to delay it and put it up against GTAV.

What Th3PANO said. Don't know why my browser won't quote his post properly. I don't have a Wii U yet but I was sold from the very first concept video I saw. The fact that I would get their first party games was enough to buy me over, but adding a new unique pad without discontinuing support for the Wiimote was a nice bonus.

Still dont have one yet, but the Monolith Soft game project X is what sealed it for me. Bayo 2, Smash, and all the other games coming out are just icing on top.
