The game is still has at least 2 more years of development time and I highly doubt this is what the final game will look like.  Also as said in the video, this is just a tech demo.

What they won't do is that they won't be abandoning that cartoony look anytime soon. I'm willing to bet that they will still keep that cartoony look. 

Well I don't think that is completely their decision, I mean it is a Disney game, when was the last realistic Disney game?  I don't see them making realistic Aladdin or Little Mermaid worlds cause it doesn't make any sense.  I still think they can make a good looking game with "cartoony" graphics.

What exactly are they doing that is graphically ground breaking in KH3 ? 

Idk I'm not making the game, idk what their planning...  Also I never said it was graphically ground breaking, nor did I say it had to be.  None of the other two numbered releases were graphically ground breaking and yet they were received very well.

Then it's safe to say that this game doesn't exactly look next gen to me then.

The game looks really good to me, it has a nice crisp look to it and the particle effects look really good

I wonder if the 3DS can handle 1080p LOL.
