Their both awful and none of them "scream" as a reason to own next gen consoles.

PS4 side I want Resogun, Knack and Killzone. X1 side I want Crimson Dragon and Dead Rising 3. None warrent buying a $400 or $500 console.
Both consoles launch window line-up is weak imho. But at this point I don't care if My Little Pony Adventures was the only exclusive to be had, because I've been waiting 7+ years for a new damn console.
I'd give the edge in terms of exclusives or the X1 for It's first half year (year?) on the market. It's a shame we won't know till next E3 what both systems offer for holiday 2014.
It's just that simple.
Xbox One have more games, that's undeniable, and probably most people think it have better launch games, but seriously...., how many people buy a new console for 400-500$ for only the games at launch??? PS4 fans will buy it now to play in the near future infamous second son, the order 1886 and the next Naughty Dog game, to name a few, and the Xbox One fan wil buy it, not precisely for Ryse or Dead Rising, but for TitanFall or Halo, and it's allright.
This games will be forgotten when we reach the next E3 .....
I don't think it's fair to eliminate titles simply because they are also available on their predecessor's console as well. This will be the norm for a while for multiplats.
The "true exclusive" lists are not a reason to upgrade alone IMO.

Since it is only from that one source, I'm treating it like I treat most rumors - nothing solid until confirmation. That said, even without DriveClub my feelings wouldn't change. $400 vs $500 is among the big reasons and no launch title has my interest like Killzone. |
Is $400 vs $500 really a big issue for you? Considering you pay double that for just one video card for your PC
Xbone has a better line up for most people.
Im a KZ fan so that's all I need.
I'm a Killzone fan, so that trumps everything else for me by a substantial margin.
However, there is nothing more short-sighted than buying a console for the launch titles. Most people will buy either one knowing basically what to expect from their console manufacturer of choice and that normally goes way beyond launch lists.
