Well... To me it's not killer enough. It looks fun, I'll get it, but I'm still getting Mario Kart 8. Mario Kart's the best party racer so far.

I would totally get this on Steam, XBLA or PSN but driving games with a touch screen just suck

Use gyro controls? With the screen adjusting to the tilting keeping the view level I enjoy driving games a lot on touch screens..

the "problem" with casual gamers is that they will really think this is enough for them. the game won't be as good as mario kart but i can see how some might think "it's good enough for me, why should i pay so much more for mario kart when i have already a funny kart game"

There have always been other and cheaper Kart Games. Despite of that Mario Kart is still the best selling racing game.

sure but there have never been other angry birds kart games on a smartphone for maybe 3 bucks. people like angry birds, people never liked whatever other kart games for 3 bucks had.

and this will obviously not kill mario kart but it could really take some people away from consoles or at least handhelds with the combination of other games smartphones/tablets get right now.

Personally I think Rovio will make sure that the gameplay quality is good.. It's Angry Birds we are talking about.. one of the biggest new IPs from the last few years.. if Rovio screws it up its bye bye to Angry Birds and probably the company..
