Great marketing team (i even heard GTA 5 in NPR. WTF!)

Disadvantage:

Cost of the game

Pokemon

Advantage:

Sells average games (outside the main series)

Tons of merchandise (anime, toys, cards, etc.)

Ariados legs

Games relatively cheaper to make vs the other two

Can easily target new generations of consumers

Disadvantage:

Nintendo exclusive

Pokemon will own by far.

It won't be beaten by sales numbers too much, but the most important factors are these.

1. Cost of game. cost a fraction of what GTA5 did.
2. Merchandise. Pokemon will make a shit ton on toys, cartoon, ect. What does GTA5 make beyond just game sales?

All three games will make a lot of money for their companies.....that's how I see it.

Probably something like candy crush to be honest.

All those micro transactions/advertisements-revenue can really add up. If not candy crush then GTA. COD in 3rd. A huge drop off then pokemon

Obviously Pokemon, it's way cheaper to make, it won't drop price till next installment and sell tons of toys, cards and stuff. In a month, GTA is gonna be dropping price, it will take years for Pokemon to do that...

honestly i thought pokemon would because of merchandise and capital cost... but people think otherwise.....

maybe cod has more source of income but I don't see the point for pokemon. Cod is coming on the next gen platforms and on more platforms so I suspect it wasn't much cheaper to make than GTA V. also GTA V will be atleast 10mill more than pokemon so the cost is cover there.
