The original comment was to ethomaz saying that he has said that in multiple threads now.  No need to repeat it in every one.  We all know VGC can be off, specially in the smaller countries and in europe.(Just because I delete a comment doesnt mean i was flaming)

But because i didnt want people talking about how accurate these numbers are i deleted it.  Then you come along and completely derailed everything over what most people probably view as no big deal.

And GTA was never a Sony-exclusive franchise either... every single version other than Liberty City and Vice City stories have been on PC or other consoles besides Sony's.

WIth PS3 sales passing 360 sales, this was bound to happen. GT has always been a PS series too. GTA4 only did well on 360 because it was advertised more for it and 360 was selling the best at the time.

But wasn't this expected since the PS3 install base is much larger than the X360s?

But I wonder what the difference is in active consoles. The older the less active I would think, and in the last three years or so I think the margin between PS3 and X360 sales is much more than 1 million, and proportionally the difference is significant if you're assumin new console owners are more active than older.

Yes and yes. Considering how close IV was despite 360 exclusive content, this is not surprising.
