GT6
It will hurt those who are not the "hardcore" fanbase of the systems, those will buy a new system no matter what. But if these also on releases continue the "recreational" players will not upgrade which will cause a dip in sales for the beginning of 2014.
7th gen consoles are still going to be relevant for a few years so that will certainly impact potential 8th gen sales.
Either way, people will eventually upgrade as prices go down and there are less cross gen games.

Pretty much this. I think the Wii getting cut off cold was probably a bit bad for their image. Ideally, the PS4 would have had BC at launch to mitigate short term damage, but ah well.

Well PS2 launched with visuals and games that really set it apart from the PS1.
To the contrary... right now PS4 feels like more PS3. I mean they are sharing a lot of games and visually its kinda like comparing a 7th gen game to a high end PC game.

Lol at the list (sorry). GT6 is the only thing that maaaaaybe has a chance of affecting the PS4

This is very true.
Myself for instance, I am a nintendo-oriented gamer but decided late last year to pick up either a PS3 or 360 so that I could go back and play the few games not avialable on the Wii for Gen 7 that interested me. Sony convinced me to get a PS3 (for several reasons but I won't go into that here) and I've been fairly happy with my purchase. Several more years of support for the PS3 while the more 'core' Sony fans get the PS4 going and I could see me picking up a PS4 later in its life after the PS3 is discontinued and the PS4 is ~$250
with my huge back log thank you ps+ and all these new games I am considering waiting on ps4 most likely wont but it is tempting
