PC have a lot of games i never heard of but i will keep playing on consoles and leave my pc as a hobby.

The best list in that is the WiiU one.

Anyway, it doesn't matter what platforms you choose, you'll miss lots of awesome games (exclusives or not) and if you buy them all, you won't have the time to play it all. So just pick the one you like more and that's it. No need to hate.

It's not about the volume of games. It's about games you actually like. I can say with absolutely no BS that I'd rather play Uncharted 4 or Zelda U than ALL of those PC games combined. Honestly. I know some PC folk will think that mental, but...

OMG stop grouping all PC gamers together.  I play PC and  I  "Get consoles."   Two of my favorite games are Demon's Souls and MGS4!  Oh and there are plenty of big PC games I actually like too btw...

As a PC and Wii U owner, I can safely say, it is you that does not get it. How can you even sit here and look down on anyone when you are nothing more than a name player? it doesnt matter how great a game is, if you have never heard of it, or it isnt popular, it doesnt count? You dont have to be a PC gamer to see that as mental. You are saying your enjoyment of games is based on recognition. Not how good the game is.

 


I'm not looking down on anyone and I don't only play 'names'. But those are the games that make me want the consoles, for example. I bought a 3DS for Pokemon X/Y.

That's not to say I don't play smaller IPs once I've got the consoles. In the past couple of years I've bought ZombiU, Journey, Enslaved, Katamari Forever... those are just off the top of my head. But the thing which makes people pull the trigger and buy a console is often one or two IPs that they want. People don't buy consoles just for the sake of it. This is why bundles sell.

I've played lots of smaller PC games too, such as World Of Goo. But this argument about PCs having loads of exclusives - my point is, if there are even a handful of IPs you want on a console, you'll buy one, no matter how many games are available on PC.

I need a new one anyway, since my current laptop can die on me anyday and I need to finish my bloody PhD on something :/ Gonna get it early 2014, hope I can get something good for small cash.

 

PS. Below is not an exclusive, the devs have said it officially.



Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

...that list is at least 6 months old: it's resogun. warfarm and dayz announced for ps4. below announced multiplat. hohokum, rime, shadow of the beast, xbox fitness, fable legends, titanfall, dragon's prophet, basement crawl, deep down, earth defense force, lily bergamo, N++ are all missing.


Ok, it missed some games, but remember it is exclusive only list, no cross gen, no PS4/Vita , Xbox One/PC/360 etc. Only true exclusives.

 

So the point still stands imo. We got a lot indie on PS4, a lot of multiplats, cross gen and only a few AAA exclusives.

Which sounds like a command.  So in this case the comment is warranted (I would agree too).

 

Besides, your list is more a case for why you SHOULD game on PC, not why you SHOULDN'T game on a console.  They are not the same.

Still same thing applies :)  Plus my PC already maxes most games out so im not worried about it.  I just rarely play games on it outside of steam sales.

Timed exclusive i believe?  Though i prefer to get it day one than later on.  Same applies to TitanFall which im opting out for XBO over PC because i prefer controllers over Mouse/Keyboard.
