I'm not disagreeing with you, I'm just saying what I believe is going to happen based on the behaviour of devs this past generation.

It is more fair to present the problem like a statistic one, like: 2% of games on Wii U games will be 1080p. 30% games on XOne will be 1080p and 95% of PS4 games will be 1080p. Those numbers are a rough estimation just for the purpose of this exemple.

So all your assertions are true: "PS4 will not have a 1080p baseline, nor will Xbone" is true as "baseline" would force that 100% of games need to be 1080p.

"Not all PS4 (or Xone or WiiU games) will be 1080p though" is true also. Welcome to the PR world of true assertions. But those true sentences are useless and don't model correctly the real and complicated (not black & white) world.

I wasn't attacking the PS4. PS4 will have more 1080p games throughout its lifespan than Xbox One and Wii U. I just think dreams of a 1080p baseline will go unfulfilled this coming gen, because that's the first corner devs seem to cut.
